Nebraska Christian College

In the Student Affairs Department, we work as a team to cultivate a campus environment where students can excel in their studies, grow in their faith, learn life skills, build healthy relationships, and -- as college students are particularly wired to do -- have some fun. This year, we've been supporting our students, setting up infrastructure, and creating strategy that supports our mission and values.

We have also been tasked with creating an Intercollegiate Athletic Department, offering athletic scholarships ready for operation by the fall of 2017. We are on schedule to complete our task. In a few short months, we've hired an Athletic Director and entire coaching staff that are knowledgeable and proficient in their designated areas. They all love sports but are dedicated to working in Christian higher education to use sports as a ministry. We have created a student recruit pipeline to generate our teams. With the addition of men's and women's basketball and soccer, we are looking to add to our student body at least 55 student athletes who will want a Christian education to advance their faith walk and help prepare them to be servant leaders in their vocation.
