With all your help, we are making good progress toward our goal of $100,000. We have raised approximately $40,000.

Much has been happening as we are preparing to take in our first families. We have had multiple applications filled out from families expressing interest in the program offered here at Miriam's Hope. We are only weeks away from opening our first apartment to a family in need. The progress has come along nicely, and we are excited to begin working with our first family.

We are still in need of various household items, and groceries will always be appreciated. Please contact us if you have any donation items.

We are also actively seeking Mentor Families to work witih our clients. If you feel God is calling you to work with families that are struggling in a more personal way, we invite you to fill out an application to become a Mentor Family at Miriam's Hope.

Our Mentor Families have to have contact with their family at least once a week. We encourage you to connecftr with the families and guide them along their path of recovery. What they need are Christ-like examples of how families should work together.

It's time, church, to be obedient to the  Word. "Let us not love in words or in tongue, but in actions and in truth."

As we close out our first year of this new venture, we would like to thank all of those who see beyond our infirmity and inabilities. We are so thankful so many of you have caught the vision that God has given us. We are by no means perfect in all we do, but we are pursuing Him. We don't always know where we are going, but we know who we are going with.

As I write this, my wife and some other ladies are cleaning the first apartment to house our first family. I never thought we'd get here, but God knew we would and that is all that is important. We will have increased needs, and there are things going on right now that are paving the way to expand the ministry even more. There is so much need in our area, and the enemy is devising every way to corrupt families.

I just had a call last night from a woman with 2 children being kicked out of their home. Her family has given her no support over the years. We have known her, and she has been trying so hard to do the right thing. What she needs is support. What she needs are friends. What she needs are mentors. What she needs is the Body of Christ. We are working feverishly to work with her in order to possibly see her turn things around.

This work only happens, because you all are so kind and generous. We pray that you are desirous to help us along as we help others.

Thanks for a great year. We can't wait to see whwat happens next!
