Kulpahar Kids' Home & Christian School (India)

We so appreciate each and every one of you, and the churches you are a part of! Thank you for sharing with us in prayer and financial support. We know the United States is also in turmoil and changes, but we must live and remember each and every moment...and all things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.

We would like to share some praises and prayer requests with you:

Praises

• We had a wonderful Indian Board Meeting in February! And the board unanimously is standing with us in planning and working together on the future of Kulpahar Kids’ Home & Christian School. In fact, we are meeting together in April, doing specific planning and prayer. Please join us in prayer for this meeting!
• Some of our older kids who are working and living away from here -- who love their home here and what we are still doing -- came to us during the time of one of our grandkids' wedding for encouraging words. And they went together and purchased some very good, very strong street lights to put around our campuses, which they helped our electricians install. The lights work beautifully. They also made some suggestions, and were just really encouraging to us! We are so very grateful!
• We have more visitors coming this year, and we are so happy! We hope and pray that after this year, next year won’t be famine with no visitors!

Prayer Requests

1. Many Christians here are quite concerned -- as are the Muslims -- that there are many in this country who want India to be the land of Hindus. They want to put all others out, and there are many areas of other radical aspects. But our God is an awesome God, and He will take care of us!
2. Recently, 9 men from ISIS were killed in Kanpur and Lucknow -- our state’s capital, about 6 hours from us. They had blown up a train in the state below us. Our concern is for the Indian folk here in the North, and the entire world from any and all radicals.
3. Please pray for our Kindergarten-9th grade and 11th grade In-House Final Exams, and our 10th & 12th grade students in their Government exams.
4. We are hiring one of our young men we raised to start teaching school. We do not have a vacancy, but we will be using him teaching in varied areas. Then when we are forced to retire a staff person in his subject area, he’ll be here. We do not want to hire anymore non-Christians, so we can keep our strong Christian presence among the staff. We have so many staff over 60, and we pray our affiliation doesn’t force us to retire them before we're able to hire replacements. We have advertisements out in a couple of Christian magazines.
5. Our entire mission as we will have to go through changes as we start making plans and putting different things and people in place! Even we do not know yet what those are, nor the timing, but our God knows.
6. During these troubled and uncertain times throughout the world, we do know for certain that God is on His throne and He has us and the future in His loving hands!

"Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments and His paths beyond tracing out! Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been His counselor? Who has ever given to God that God should repay him? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever!" Romans 11:33-36
