With the fall semester approaching, I'm writing in homes that you'll help us have the best year of ministry we've ever experienced. Maybe that seems bold, but I believe that God wants to do somethign big on each of our 7 campuses. The combined enrollment at these schools is more than 72,500 students. According to the latest research, less than 3,000 of these students are actively pursuing faith in Jesus. The opportunity in front of us is huge!

Perhaps you already know the story from Judges 7. Gideon has an army of 32,000 trained and ready for battle. Confidence is at an all-time high! Gideon and his army belive they're ready for any challenger! However, God wants people to see that strength and power don't come from the size of an army. God tells Gideon the army is too large. So, 22,000 are sent home. Still to many! Repeatedly, the ranks are reduced in number until 300 soldiers remained. God wanted the Israelites to recognize that He was the one who would give them victory. And victorious is exactly what they were!

It's a story that reminds us that our God works powerfully when it seems the odds are insurmountable. It's a story that showcases His strength and His provision.

When I consider the opportunity for Christian Student Fellowship (CSF) to proclaim the love, truth, and purpose of Jesus Christ with as many college students as possible, I'm thankful that we have a God who works so powerfully.
