We have some exciting things taking place. The biggest news is the first baptism at the Vine Church plant. Jeff and Indra Palmer, our lead church planting couple, had met a lady at a community event who didn’t know anything about Christianity but was interested in getting a bible. So over the last 6 months or so, she has been growing in her understanding and came to a point last week of wanting to fully turn her life over to Jesus.

Here’s how Jeff stated it:

"It was a month after we moved to Gulf Harbour that we met Sam at one of our informational meetings about The Vine. She told me she didn't even know where to get a Bible. The next day, you gave her one [through your support]. We also reached out to you to pray for her!

Fast forward to Sunday. Jeff baptized Sam at a nearby park with more than 20 people there to witness as part of The Vine.

We are just so overwhelmed with joy over God's work through The Vine in such a short time.

Praise Him for the work He continues in Sam. Please continue your prayers for her as she begins the next chapter in the journey!”

It’s so exciting to see how God is working and changing lives through the church plants and ministry that we are part of.
