Crossroads International Student Ministries

As brothers and sisters in Christ, we are all part of one body. 1 Cor. 12:13 says, "Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit." I lovve when the body of Christ joins together with a common goal and purpose.

I got to experience this firsthand last month when Jayne Heimer from Christian Student Fellowship in Kearney, NE, brought a group of 35 international students and sponsors to Denver, CO, for their spring break trip. I was able to recruit 8 families from Mountainview Christian Church, my home church, to host the group from Kearney while they were in Denver. This was a great experience for families to interact and engage with international students from all over the world. According to Jayne, the interactions with host families was a highlight for the students also. So not only was Mountainview blessed by this experience, but also the students from Kearney. What a beautiful picture of the body of Christ coming together to partner as we love and share Christ with these international students.

You are also a partner with us.
