"Congratulations!"
"Way to go!"
"What a great accomplishment!"
"Oh, the places you'll go!"

End-of-school-year graduations are a highlight for us. The graduation of one Korean student was especially meaningful for us. Laurie and I flew to Chicago to celebrate the day with Sunjae. She is like an adopted daughter to us. Her years of study at Purdue University/Northwest was not easy, but she finished summa cum laude with a degree in accounting. We're so very proud of her.

Walking through life's adventures -- the ups and downs -- and the celebrations are one of the joys of being with international students. Later that weekend, I spoke at the church where Sunjae and her family attend. Friends in the church went on and on about how much they appreciated this young family.

I want to thank you for supporting celebrations like this one and many, many more around the nation. Your help and gifts and prayers and notes of encouragement are such a huge blessing. The Lord takes your gift and multiplies it over and over again to help us keep going. As a partner with us, I say...

"Thank you very much!"

P.S. Our RISE team awarded another grant this month -- to a ministry in Missouri. This ministry will expand their outreach to thousands of international students at their college in Columbia, Missouri.
